..depends on purge of enemy.

In level 50 all depends of rr and ra.

And skill

Too, but with the same skill but different rr and ra you can be god or sux. But with different skill and same ra and rr the diference isn´t realy big.

Well...saying same skill is a hard thing to say. I dont think that there are really players on Uthgard that exactly play the same way. Besides there are surely players with good playing skills but with certain weaknesses. Maybe one of the two players is better in taking out melees with strafing but on the other hand reacts too slow against casters. The other player might be exactly the opposite. They might both have a certain "LvL of Skill" but still they differ and therefor cant be compared at all.

Straf mode is lame mode. If you do straf other player has little lags and fail all stiles, and you can use bugs for use positional stiles. Better don´t say nothing about straff.

Well...i kinda prefer fights with moving players instead of players who just face each other and make "klonk, klonk, klonk, klonk..."

As i posted before in a treath: Strafing is only an advantage if you succeed. If not you just miss/low dmg while you opponent might use his stronger anytimers or just knows how to counter the strafing. But if you know how to counter the counterstrafing and so on and so on...its much more then"bugabuse"...its tactics. And learning the correct way of strafing is kinda skilled indeed.

/agree

I "strafe" for tactics too

ive even tried teaching some fellow stealther friends how to do my stealth strafing ;) (when i don't wanna get PAed/BSed while fighting others)
- Server projects goals:
To emulate the experience of daoc around 2003 (before toa) and to give a good sense of realm experience and the experience of being part of a realm.

Reminds me of the training i had with other players some a while ago. Especially with valewalkers it was fun to show them the advantage of strafing^^

i really want the si classes to become remvoed. i liked daoc mostley in the classic era. for me, you should remove not only the classes, you should remove all non-classic races, namely half ogre, inconnu, shar, sylvan, valkyn, frost alfar. a half ogre and inconnu in albion ? omg what did they with the old dark age of camelot ?
and old frontiers, everything was better in classic, the game was just epic !

voted NO cause:

1.) every realm has its si-class
2.) i play si-classes by myself
3.) how u imagine deleteing si-classes and races... will u replace every single sc-armor and items to another class?
4.) many ppl will leave uthgard then

Uthgard would become much better. Only lamers would leave, who can't play without op class. We don't need them anyway.

Today I fought 3 svg grp. Lame. Lame lame lame lame. No fun if you can't do anything.

Remove them asap. For balance, which is really needed...

REMOVE PLEASE

Thank you for participating in this poll. We have seen many different positions here and will think about it. However I doubt that we will remove the SI classes after this poll, as we have almost a 50:50 result here. The effort would be huge and those who would loose their loved characters would be way unhappier than those who have to accept the existance of the SI classes. In addition removing 6 classes from the game is a reduction of features also.

We will proceed in completing the classes. When all classes and pets are finished, of course we will have to recheck the balance of the SI classes in comparison with the classic ones.
