As you may have noted the reskins disappeared. We decided to remove them, since they disorted the overall picture of DAoC. Furthermore there were more and more Luke Skywalkers in Emain who fought eachothers with lightsabres. Your 5000 bountypoints have been restored.

Everyone who had an eventreskin and misses his reskin now, please contact us. The best methods are /callgm and /report. We will check if your reskin request is valid, please be patient.


I'd like to announce, that we deleted some accounts, to free ressources. We deleted:

- Chars lower than level 10 who weren't logged in for 6 months
- Chars lower than level 7 who weren't logged in for 3 months

By this the database was reduced from 33040 to 18836 chars. The inventorytable was discencumbered from 429.973 to 353.140 items. These deletions will now happen automatically with each severreboot.

Only chars on old, non-played accounts are affected, chars above level 10 and crafters are absolutely safe. Should contrary to expectations someone miss something, please contact us.

just logg in with the account once in a while i guess 3 months are enough.

AFAIK you just need to have one char on the acc who fulfills those.

Its a good ideia IMO. Everything that helps the improvement of Uthgard server and all that are connected to it.

Dont want to be deleted and worry about it ? Just simply level it to level 11!

crafters are 100% safe. these deletions only affect chars who were created and played maybe up to lvl 3, when the player noticed "wow, no instant 50" and logged out.

It was not really clear in the news but accounts that have at least one crafter char inside, are absolutely safe. They are not considered in level and last-logged-in check. We just want to clean out accounts that were created on the fly and the player came not back for a long time.

For our normal players this cleanup is of no matter, you would never notice it. It removes garbage accounts only.

yeah but for exemple the vault keepers mule have to be leveled to 11 too...
