Hi there,

i have seen hunters controlling a charmed pet healing them.
LvL 15-16 Arachite Priest.

Im now wondering, if there are other charmable healing pets existing?
I have heard about Hagbui shamans (around lvl 38 )?

There are some others existing? What level is needed to charm them?

Thx 4 your help!

You can only charm "insects" and "animals".

Hagbui shaman is "undead".

[08.03.2010]
- Change: New created accounts will gain the title 'Elder' after 2 years (was 1)
- Worldbuild: Added several missing house lots in Brisworthy (alb)
- Bugfix: Prevent Flight works on static targets now
- Bugfix: Charmed pets attacked owner or group after releasing
- New: Type of mob (insect, animal, humanoid, ...) matters when charming mobs
- Change: Volley hits a certain target in its radius with 35% chance instead 100%. Chances to hit at least one target raise the more targets are in the target area.
Uthgard till 2003!

Should be a bug then.

@Seyha: The Hunter is just allowed to charm insects and animals. The Spiritmaster could charm everything but that's a change from 1.82. So it will not come here.

Yepp, the charm is now restricted to the mob-typ.

Btw, atm (BC 32) you can only use the "animal" charm.

To point out, what i mean:

Steps for Animal-Charm:
1 7 13 20 32

Steps for Insect-Charm:
3 9 15 22 35

If you got BC between 22 and 31 u are only able to cast the Spell called 'control Insect'. At the moment you spend your 33 points to get BC at 32, you'll loose your 'controll Insect' spell and get 'Superior Call of Gleipnir'. What means, you cant charm any insects at BC 32+ (dont know what happens at BC 35, because i am only lvl 40 atm  )

(i don't talk about the instant pets, the aren't affected by this 'problem')

Is it correct, Animal/insect overwrite each other? If not, I'll post a bug-report bug report (already made some screenshots with lvl 40 single respec... )

So are there any healing pets left that a hunter can charm?

The Icestriders are Arachnites and can be found in midfrontiers and raumarik, dont know if they are low enough to charm (my hunter is lvl42 atm). As i remember, there are three different:

Icestrider Chiller
Icestrider Frostweaver
Icestrider Interceptor

All of them proc a root (not sure about the Chiller). Additionally the frostweaver casts some cold-dd. Dont know if he always casts this when he has been charmed, but if so, he'll be a pretty nice pet... the casts arent affected by the lousy mob-dmg like your instant-pet

Anyway, i'd like to know, does one of them (or some other charmable mobs) heal?
The healing pets are pretty handsome if you do some solo-pve. Now i have reached 40+ the heals from the arach-priest should get a boost 8)

The maximum moblevel that a hunter can charm is 41.
Only Animals and Insects should be charmable, afaik.

So anyone knows mobs with abilities in the OF-RvR zones that can be charmed by the hunter?

Frostweaver and interceptor are too high. Didnt find a chiller yet.
