Coming in to the realm!

There was a recent post asking about active RvR Guilds/Alliances in the NA time zone.

Are there any? Who are they?

What do the RvR crews NA (And just hib in general) need for RvR? Just more people?

I have lots of tank questions about BM vs Hero if someone could pm and school me as to which 8 mans prefer at the time.

More people ofc is always a problem. bards and druids especially bards are in short supply. and tanks tend to be in short supply such as heroes and blade masters. Even though tanks are needed badly XP groups are hard to find for them. and is tons of casters always in hib.

a lot of xp groups are in favor of focus aoe,pbaoe leveling groups. Durning NA primetime rvr and sometimes pve find group makeups a bit unusual. during eu primetime, the known cookie cutter classes/specs are more wanted.

So commit to running a druid/bard and BM and find a guild to PL me is what im seeing here

From what I understand, there is one giant alliance in Hibernia and unless you belong to one of its member guilds, you are not going to have a good go of things there. What Hibernia here needs is another large alliance. More variety. That requires people with good charisma and leadership qualities though. It really doesn't matter what class you play if you are a great leader.

I could be wrong about the alliances though, there has to be another alliance, but since the official Herald is not working (please help fix it: https://www2.uthgard.net/herald/ ) there is no way to know except by word of mouth.

If you can level a BM to 50, you'll almost always find a spot in RVR groups. There's plenty of every Hib caster, it's the melee that's often lacking. I'll be rolling a bard or BM once I get to a point I'm comfortable farming with my enchanter.

Hey, Not many NA Hib 8 man guilds right now, most are super pugs. Astronauts is not a member of the Syndicate alliance (along with some other guilds as well, YES WE EXISTS!) and we are trying to build a core 8 man group to compete with. We run mainly caster setups, and sometimes hybrid depending on who is available. Regarding which classes is needed, we always end up searching for either MA Enchanter, Bard, or Nature Druid. Astronauts is also looking for a peeler, preferably Blade master for NA times.

Nevertheless, they ARE player of our realm. Maybe ping one of those guys for the next reli-raid,
if you plan something in your alliance.

We would do the same.

(One of the most anoying stuff in Hib, the bad communication between alliances/guilds).

On european prime time those guilds usually bring out a lot more people in RvR than the Syndicate alliance does on american hours. You simply play at different hours. Many of them have never heard of your alliance..
