So for new players like myself that are grinding out the levels to get into RvR with the few that still play here, what can we expect when we get to 50/RvR?
1) How is RvR with each realm? 2) Do we ever see 8v8? 3) I understand RvR is better on certain nights, which nights for each realm is most active? 4) Which realms are lacking in RvR and which are strongest? 5) Which realms seem more organized and why? 6) Which realm needs the most help? Just trying to get a feel for what to expect at 50. I am not trying to see who is the best realm and go to it, I've already chosen my realm, I just want to see where each realm stands. So far it seems Mid just does what they want, Alb seems to have it's moments and so far I have not seen Hib do much of anything. Just trying to get educated. The server may be dead but what little is left I want to eventually add a +1 to it. Never played in OF so this will be a learning experience for me. |

Welcome to Uthgard. It's not perfect by any means but the community makes this server special and if you give it time and patience you'll find a home here.
RVR is a bit different here than what you may be used to, in that many players 'realm hop' particularly between Hibernia and Midgard. For consistency and constant familiarity then Albion is the realm where you'll find this. Guardians of Light and Knights who say Ni are very frequent and Romu of the Albion alliance organises twice-weekly RVR nights. On Hibernia you may find a few people such as Rudra who are mainstays there and can I am sure extend the welcome to there if that's where you are. In my opinion Hibernia is (or was, I haven't played in a few weeks as on holiday) the realm in need of numbers. Midgard seems to mostly be an RVR realm at the moment and I can't name anyone as a possible go-to for starting out (feel free to correct me if any Middies read this) I commend your wish to add a +1 to the realm count and I was the same when I came back a few years ago. After over three years back i've not went anywhere else and loving my time here. So again, welcome and enjoy |
