You need to kill spraggonite and if you kill more than 1 of them, you get evertime the questitem, only one needed.
1. Go to Basar and get the quest from Cristin
2. Kill more than one spraggonite
3. You get everytime a questitem of them, while you have the quest in your Journal
4. If you finish the quest, all unnecessary questitems stay in the inventar
If you kill a spraggonite while having the quest in your journal, you should get the questitem. If you kill another one, you should not get another questitem.
I did the quest a few times with different characters and the bug was everytime.
