Being a crafter i should be able to get tradeskill tasks from my trainer, like craft a regal cloak and give it to ottar in jordheim. So when i give the cloak to ottar i recieve money for a little more than cost price to make the item.
This i should be able to do up to skill level 650 in my main tradeskill and there is no character level cap for getting tradeskill tasks.
1. level a runemaster to level 5.
2. get tailoring tradeskill in jordheim from the tailor master.
3. /whisper task to your trainer to recieve a task to make and deliver an item to a NPC in jordheim. But nothing happens, trainer have no work you.
Tradeskill tasks have been a part of Daoc for a long time. Can't find any patches proving my claim. But im very sure, they were a part of the game before patch 1.65 when foundations came out.
Please look into old archives for proof, it was a normal way to level your tradeskill and earn money at the same time.
