While kiting an isalf snowtracker in Jamtland Mts (approx loc 36900 59300), the mob stopped on the other side of a hill and shot me with an arrow while it was still entirely out of sight.
1. Aggro an isalf snowtracker in Jamtland Mountains
2. Kite it towards/over a large hill.
3. Pause while it is still out of sight but still aggro'd
4. Wait for the mob to shoot you through the terrain
If the mob does not have line of sight on my character, then it should not be able to use a ranged attack against me.
Why have any pathing at all if mobs can just ranged attack through the terrain?
