I have read about it at the forum, but i didn't find a similar report yet.
So i just tested it and noticed we are actually missing the 50% spell power cost discount if our spells have been resisted.
Take a look at the patchnotes -> http://camelotherald.wikia.com/wiki/Patch_Notes:_Version_1.33
Version 1.33 Release Notes
October 23, 2001
- When a spell is resisted, a mage only loses 1/2 power.
- Most resisted spells now only take half spell power, instead of the full cost. Please note that this does not apply to "Bolt" spells.
Implementing this mechanic is very important, since it would help casters alot with their current mana issues.
1. Create a caster and nuke a mob to check how much mana you lose per cast.
2. Cast till one of the spells got resisted, but keep watching your mana bar.
3. You will see no difference in mana consumption between non-resisted spells and resisted spells.
Just halve the spell power cost if a spell got resisted.
