When your target dies before your direct damage spell ends, you will have to pay the power costs
1. Cast direct damage spell at a target, which will die before your cast ends, e.g. it dies from somebody else or your dot
power will be drained, even with message: Your target is already dead
No reason to drain power in that case. And i cannot remember that my power got drained on live in that case
