Specific mobs when attacked at range give an error message that the target can't be seen. However, the target very clearly can be seen. Furthermore, a SECOND attempt at engaging at range from the SAME location ALWAYS yields a successful attack. This issue is repeatable on very specific mobs.
IE, if you have a spawn of 5 plated fiends in a group and get this error message on the 2nd one from the right. You will get the same error EVERY time you pull THAT specific mob yet it will not occur on any of the other mobs in the spawn.
1. Target mobs with ranged attack.
2. Initiate attack/spell
3. Receive "can't see target" message
4. Initiate attack/spell from same location
5. Attack/spell impacts target
This bug appears to effect SPECIFIC mobs within the gameworld which is why i'm reporting this under a worldbuild error. It is repeatable 100% without fail but only on specific mobs. It will take time to find ALL of the mobs that are affected by this error. The plated fiend in the video is one of three plated fiends I've found so far that have this error.
The "target can't be seen" message should only occur if the target is not within LoS. This is clearly a bug because the message occurs but subsequent attacks are successful without changing anything regarding LoS. Something either in the "spawn" of the mob or in the worldbuild is preventing the first spell / attack from landing.
Watch the video, it's clearly incorrect behavior when compared to all other mobs.
