Each player who is on this part of the quest must get their own final death blow in order to receive credit (obtain the worm tooth) instead of everyone getting credit, thus requiring you to stay at the location of the worm for several game days if you have more than 2-3 players doing this quest.
Find and slay the Sockburn worm. Sightings of the worm have been located just north and east of Caer Berkstead within the Pennie Mountains.
*** Please note, this is going on for the entire quest line for Cleric and Paladin which involves anything that requires you to kill a mob of any kind, regardless of they are named or not.

1. Obtain the lvl 45 epic quest for cleric or paladin and have at least 2-3 players on this quest with you.
2. Go to the location the sockburn worm spawns (3x in a day) starting around 8am IGT.
3. Kill the sickburn worm and notice that only 1 of the group members received the worm tooth and update to the quest.
I thought that these type of epic quests were to help foster working together in completing them, however only 1 person gets the quest credit for every step that requires you to kill a specific mob, named or not.
This should give credit to all who are on the same step and who have done damage to the target, else this will discourage players helping each other due to the extra long period of time required to get these quests done if you group up with anyone else who needs it as well.
Going on memory and a little common sense regarding how epic quests were handled back during 2003, as I remember helping several players at once on many steps and everyone getting credit for it.
I know this works correctly when helping multiple players trying to complete the lvl 50 quest in the current Uthgard build as we have witnessed this first hand multiple times.
