When I salvage, the bar ticks till its end, but the salvage isn't finished and continues for another several seconds.
This enables you to interrupt the salvage when you notice you would loose material. (e.g. if you salvage hard brea boots, which should produce 3 hard leather squares, and you realize that the bar is filled and shows only a 1 or 2, you can interrupt and try it another time)
This issue seems to be related to issue no 1077 and 839 - even though it says those issues are resolved?
1. create a crafter
2. salvage something (e.g. hard brea boots)
3. watch the bar fill till the end
4. notice that the salvage still continues
5. check that you can interrupt the salvage
A salvage should take as many seconds as it will produce material.
If you salvage a pair of boots which is supposed to result in 3 leather, the salvage should take 3 seconds. If you salvage a vest, which should produce 15 arcanium, it should take 15 seconds.
The salvage should be immediately be finished (and the material be dropped into your inventory) when the time had passed (and the bar is full).
It has been always like this. Can't find any evidence via google. Maybe someone else can.
