1993: Augment <stat> increases count as a buff ??

Description

Having earned RP's during Caledonia runs i've decided to use some on RA's, i picked augment dex, but counts as a buff. Is it surposed to do that.
Didn't these have their own line under the stats?

Reproduction Steps

1. Make a character and use the cat in your home capital
2. Pick a class and get gear, and go earn RP's in BG
3. Spend your rps on RA augment <stat> and see it count as a buff

Intended Behavior

Can't really remember, something is off. If the RA count as a buff, does it then count against our total buff cap. I seem to remember these RA's should increase our stats but be shown in some other way.
