In both Albion, NW of Ardibalds retreat in water, 53K x 8K, and Hibernia, SE of Mag Mell in water, 32K x 17K, a creature called the slough serpent lurks. It drops an item called 'serpent scales' which sells for nothing. Does not even register a sale, the item just disappears.
1. Create Briton mage in Albion or Elven magician in Hibernia
2. Travel (swim) to Avalon Marsh 32K x 17K or Lough Derg 53K x 8K in water.
3. Kill slough serpent and sell the parts, notice 'serpent scales' do not register any sort of sale.
Find out the value of 'serpent scales' (probably low, like 1-3 copper) and then add the sell value to them.
I held off on reporting this as I do not have access to pendragon and have been unable to find any selling price for these scales. Maybe with luck it can be done though. I hunt these every time I make a new character in these realms and would love if the scales sold for something too.
