When using the Cabalist's Jade Simulacrum pet to focus pull the pet's self damage shield drops as you cast focus shield. When the pull is over and the pet no longer has aggro, it recasts it's self damage shield buff.
1. Roll a cabalist on Albion.
2. Level to level 32 to have access to the Jade Simulacrum pet.
3. Focus pull with the Jade Simulacrum and observe the behavior of the buff it casts on itself.
I don't believe the pet's self buff should drop with focus shield active. Fix it so that both damage dealing shields don't conflict and are active at the same time.
It seems unlikely that a buff that the cabalist puts on an active pet would conflict with the passive buff that the pet casts on itself. If this is indeed proper game mechanics, the appeal of a pet with damage shield becomes almost non-existent. No one is going to use a pet with a damage shield in pvp, it breaks cc when hit, and no one is hitting it in the first place. It is only viable in pve and if both shields are not active then other pets are preferable rendering the Jade simulacrum obsolete.
