Selling Werewolf Bone Rings, which drop in Varulvheim, and I received no message that the merchant gave me any money for the items. No coin appeared on my character either. However, the item disappeared as if it had been sold. I sold 2 rings and the same thing happened to both items. I then sold a different item after to make sure something weird wasn't happening with sales. The items functioned as normal.
1. Obtain Werewolf Bone Ring
2. Try to sell the ring to any merchant
3. Watch the chat box to see that no message has appeared for its sale and that no coin has been given for the item either.
The Werewolf Bone Ring should both generate a message that the merchant has given you a certain amount of coin for the item and you should receive said amount on your character's money total.
Unfortunately, I can't find anywhere through a google search that shows how much they should sell for. My proof, as it were, is that the item is taken by the merchant. Even though there is no message or coin generated, if it didn't have the ability to be sold, the merchant would not have taken it. Instead a "Merchant does not want this item" message would have been generated and the item would not have been removed from the character inventory.
