According to the patch appropriate page on the wayback machine for Allakhazam, step 4 of An End to the Daggers (level 43) is supposed to give XP for turning in Geyra's Amulet. I did not get any XP and I still have the quest item (game text says she does not want it), which seems odd because every other quest npc thus far has eaten the quest item.
I don't have proof that she is supposed eat the item, though... just assuming, but I know that's not how things are done around here so I'll look around a bit more when I have time.

She does everything else right. She summons Joseph and then gives the next step.
1. Progress through epic quest until you attain level 43, accept An End to the Daggers, progres until instructed to kill Geyra.
2. Kill Geyra as instructed by Lynnleigh
3. Turn in Geyra's Amulet, receive no XP, and retain Geyra's Amulet
Lynnleigh should reward the player ~1,000,000,000 xp when Geyra's Amulet is turned in and probably eat it as other NPCs have done.
