I noticed, to command my pet to "attack" or "go" to a target, System double check LOS from me and my pet. If i remember correct, only one LOS is needed, the Petowner LOS or the Pet LOS. If one of them is positiv, Pet reacts on the command.
The double check is a Special behaviour only for necromancers from patch 1,58b, to avoid them casting on targets, without LOS from both.
1. Make a Pet Class
2. place Pet and yourself in Position, so that only one of you has LOS to target
3. try to command pet to go or attack the target
Review how LOS is checked for Pet commands "attack" and "go"
Have no Patchnotes found with changings to LOS (excluding Necro and something about animist vs groundtarget). Maybe someone with Pendragon access can test out there how it is working?
