I picked up a Forged Darksteel Runic STaff and it can't be equipped by other mystic classes. I created another new BD and i30'd him to make sure it wasn't just the one character. The problem persisted to the new BD as well. I created a new RM to be sure it could be equipped at all and the RM was able to use it. The staff does say that it is for RMs, however this SHOULD NOT affect being equipped, only the focus should not affect any class RM. Further more, I have been using another lower level staff that says for RMs on it perfectly fine.
1. Pick up Forged Darksteel Runic Staff on any class able to use staffs but RM
2. Try to eqiup the staff
3. See that it tells you that you have no skill to use this weapon
The staff should be equipable by other mystic classes, only the focus will not apply to non RM mystics.
I am currently using a staff that also says for RMs with no issues. Only the focus will not affect the class specified when a staff says that is for X class. You can see such a staff if the screenshot I provided in the screenshots/videos section.
