Fressen should spawn 4 or 5 drifting spirits on attack. As you can see in this quest description:

"Fressen is green at 20 and looks alone but when you cast or hit him he summons instantly 4 or 5 drifiting spirits."
I needed 3 hits to kill him and he didn´t spawn anything, making this step much easier as it should be.
1. Get the "Visions of Darkness" epic seer quest to step 3
2. go kill Fressen (should take 2-3 hits on a 50 pacheal)
3. See no adds spawn
Fressen should spawn 4-5 drifting spirits on the first attack. Pls make him spawn his adds when attacked.
