The proc of 'Thorny Shield' is a 4.4 delve damage shield. This is currently overwriting the Arboreal Path damage shield which is a higher delve (4.9).
Currently as a Valewalker you would shy away from using your parry chain due to this as the proc only lasts 30seconds and you have to recast your baseline damage shield after every fight.
1. Make a 50 Valewalker and cast your baseline damage shield (Nature's heart of wrath)
2. Parry a mob and land your chain.
3. See the style procs lower delving damage shield over write your cast damage shield
Style proc should not overwrite cast damage shield at this level.
A lower delve buff should not overwrite a higher delve buff.
