When AoE mezzing an enemy with a pet (in this instance it was a Minstrel) the pet should not be unmezzed when the caster purges or releases the pet. In this instance I am not sure if the minstrel released (is a thought of what could've happened) the pet but from it looks like it seems when the minstrel purged the pet was purged as well.
Also, nothing was done on the minstrel in the video. All damage/targeting was being done on the Armsman as he resisted my mez.
And I apologize I haven't had much time, nor have I had some time, to test this more.
1. AoE Mezz enemy with a pet.
2. Have enemy purge or release the pet (not sure what action unmezzed the pet)
3. Watch pet be unmezzed and get worked
Purging or releasing the pet should not unmezz the pet. Only demezzing and hitting the pet should unmezz it. Fix the issue so that pets stay mezzed when released or when the caster purges.
I do not have any patch notes but from what I have seen from other tickets pets should act like normal mobs. A mezzed pet should stay mezzed unless hit or debuffed or anything that will unmezz a character. Pets should not be purged when the caster purges.
