RAs such as Purge,Soldiers Barricade have their timers reset if you /respec realm, /quit, log back in and buy the RAs again from your trainer.
1. Use a realm ability with a cooldown (ie Purge)
2. Go to trainer and /respec realm
3. Log out, log back in
4. Buy the RA again (ie Purge)
5. Notice that it's up and usable again, despite the timer period of its 30 min cooldown hasnt passed.
RA timers should persist through /respec realm and re-logging into the game.
