When I created a second character, my first character disappeared. I closed the client and relaunched and the character reappeared. No harm, no loss.
1. Create a primary character
2. Create a second character
3. Check the character selection screen - primary character missing
May need to have a check for existing characters before displaying the character select screen upon character creation
My primary character slot was empty after making a new character and I have never seen that happen in any version of DAoC that I have played previously. I do not know that my suggestion is a valid answer because I do not know how the character data is loaded to the character select screen.
