We went to the Pygmy camp at the bottom right of lyonesse on the hill to test which class would work better for PL. We then proceeded to pulling 20+ pygmy mobs at a time and killing them with focus shield. To our surprise The level 1 in our group was not getting any exp for the mobs that where taking more then 50% damage from the focus shield. We then started pulling and letting the pet kill 1 at a time with pet actually using melee, to our surprise there was the exp again! As the level one person finally reached level 3 we realized that focus shield is causing the exp to drop by 50% of normal which is probably why at level one we weren't getting any because mob normally gives 1-2 xp. Both the Necro and Cabby are suffering from this.
1. Create a Cabby or necro have the pet kill mob with melee(or kill any way really)
2. Then use focus shield to kill the same mob.
3. The exp will be cut in half.
There should be no difference in the xp received from when the pet kills the mob to when you kill it with focus shield.
I don't have any evidence except that I was playing and notice that this was not working properly. In both cases the pet is killing the mob but for whatever reason the focus shield is bugged causing the exp to Get cut in half.
