the quest Wolf Pelt Cloak on albion, lvl 1, should only give a quest item as a reward unless you complete the alternate ending giving your cloak to the orphanage at which point you gain 1 BB xp whatever the level (1 or 5)
you should not receive any coins
XP and coins given with the cloak were introduced with 1.69
1. make a new toon
2. take the quest
3. notice the rewards and check evidence
turn the wolf head token to Seamstress Lynnet
receive the cloak without xp nor coins
You give Brother Don your Wolf Pelt Cloak.
Brother Don says, "Thank you! Your service to the church has been noted!"
You are awarded experience!
