The claw that is rewarded from the Njessi Quest "Silent Death" is wrongly flagged. It cannot be repaired by NPC smith, cannot be dropped, cannot be salvaged, cannot be traded. So there is no way to repair it currently.
1. Get Njessi Quest Reward from "Silent Death" Quest
2. Try to repair it after it loses condition
3. hate your life as a savage
Should be repairable at NPC smith, else there is no option to restore condition as you cannot trade it to a crafter also.
There are no additional pieces of evidence needed, as this issue is either working as intended which is really crappy because there are no other 100% quality hand to hand weapons available in Midgard, or it is an easy fix to flag the item right in the database.
