The Gridash quest in Vasudheim is also available for Seers (and I think also for all classes that cannot use swords). After finishing this quest you are rewarded with a nice sword you cannot use and cannot sell. In order to finish the quest you have to spend 2 silver for a short bronze sword requested by Gridash.
1. Make a Level 2 Seer
2. Get the quest from Gridash in Vasudheim where you need to buy him a bronze short sword for 2 Silver
3. Bring him the sword (you can buy it from the weapon merchant at the forge)
4. Go and kill a sweawolf cub and bring Gridash the teeth
=>He will reward you with a ‘Sveabone hilt sword’, which cannot be used by a seer. It cannot be traded/sold and cannot be dropped. You have to destroy it or carry it with you. The 2 Silver spend for the bronze short sword are wasted, which is a lot of money when you are level 2.
Don’t offer this quest to classes unable to use swords or rewards them with money (like they changed it in Patch 1.69: http://camelot.allakhazam.com/quests.html?cquest=41). I know, this was changed after 1.65 but as it is now it is not only useless, you also lose almost all you money at this early level you could use to buy some equipment.
No evidence. Just try it with a fresh new seer (Norseman in my case) in Vasudheim.
