I tried to use forge, it would not let me.
Says You must find a forge!
1. Goto Uldale housing in midgard by house 1688
2. Go into public forge
3. Try to craft something that requires a forge.
The forge there should be used for public forging, so when players are there and try to forge something requiring a forge, the forge there can be used to forge with.
All the forges in open world were usable for crafting as far as I know. Never found one I couldn't craft on.
