I bought two red con weapons off the merchant to preserve some gold as they were fairly expensive at my level, a fine alloy spiked ball mace and a fine alloy mace offhand. These are two different distinct weapons purchased from the merchant in camelot. I then took them both to an enchanter and had the npc enchant them which cost additional gold.
Given that they were red con, after leveling with them for a level or two, they became orange however they also lost some condition.
I repaired them, and now their bonus is 0%.
I have noticed an increase of miss rate with the weapons.
1. Go to Camelot and buy a Fine Alloy Spiked Ball Mace.
2. Give the mace to an enchanter NPC and have them successfully enchant it.
3. Hit mobs until it degrades to 99% condition.
4. Give the mace to a smith NPC to repair it's condition.
The enchantment bonus % shouldn't be stripped when giving a weapon to an npc to repair it.
This is a screenshot I took of the evidence. Notice that the mace has a the identifier "shining" prefixed to it. This is what happenes to any weapon when you have it enchanted it gets this prefix. Notice also how it has 0% bonus.
