Was in a group and was sitting regening mana and noticed my XP was being cut in half
1. Get in a group of 6+
2. stay sitting down while they kill mob

Pretty sure you are still suppose to get 100% exp even if you are sitting
I never remember you ever only suppose to get 50% xp while sitting
