In doing the Fletching Crafting Task at craft level 586 I am given a task to make a runewood heavy shod staff. The recipe makes a runewood Heavy Shod Staff (notice the capital letters on the recipe and resulting finished product). After making this item, the NPC will not take it ("NPC does not want that item"). I believe this is because the staff has a different name then the quest item because of the capital letters. Other items requested at this level do not have name differences and are readily accepted and advance the task. But when this one item appears the task can not be finished.
1. Have a fletching crafter the is at 580 points in fletching
2. get a task from the Fletching Master that requires crafting a runewood heavy shod staff
3. Craft the staff and give it to the NPC listed in the crafting task
Make it so that the NPC listed in the task will accept the item and complete the task
I have done this task 3 times where the runewood heavy shod staff has come up and have not been able to complete it, but in between have been able to complete numerous other tasks
