When fighting "moss sheerie" mobs in Lough Derg near loc 6800,50500 the mob casts a root on both enchanter an pet. The pet (caster pet, underhill companion) will continue to cast till that mob is dead, however after that the pet stays in place and will no longer follow or cast on another mob.
1. Take a level 9 enchanter to Lough Derg loc 6800,50500
2. Get in fight with moss sheerie mob (yellow con at level 9) and get pet rooted by mob.
3. Finish fight, wait for root to wear off pet, pet is now unresponsive and must be re-summoned.
The enchanter pet should be able to cast on a new target (not the one that rooted it) as long as it is in range even if pet is rooted. Pet should also be able to move again once the root wears off.
Live history not really needed here, player pets going permanently unresponsive due to a root I am sure is not intended behavior at any patch level.
