4230: MP Weapons not raising Cap Damage compared to 99% after RR5

Description

At realm rank 5, MP weapons have an effective DPS of 16.5 when 99% weapons have an effective DPS of 16.2.

Yet, hitting the same grey mob with 99% and 100% version of the exact same weapon (speed & weapon type), cap damage remains the same.

Reproduction Steps

1. Have a RR5+ character to have MP weapons have an effective DPS of 16.5.
2. Take two versions of the exact same crafted weapon with only quality differing.
3. Hit a grey mob with the same style with both weapons.
4. See that the damage cap is the same.

Intended Behavior

Investigate to see what if the 99% damage has to be lowered or if the 100% damage has to be raised.

Raise or lower accordingly.

Evidence

From my experience on live, RR5 was like a level 51 and you could take advantage of the effective AF102 and 16.5 DPS which raised resistance and damage.

Issue was invalid:
Cap is not influenced by quality.
