Our group couldn't hit Shadowgnash at first. I sent my underhill pet to pull him, and after my pet swung at him, then we could attack as normal. I proceeded to hit Shadowgnash with my staff twice while we killed him, yet didn't receive credit for the one time drop.
1. Find Shadowgnash and attempt to melee attack him.
2. If unable to attack, have somebody try to attack with an Enchanter pet.
3. When mob dies, the player who "pulled" with his pet won't get credit for the encounter (and receive the one time drop cloak.)
Regardless of interactions with pets, Shadowgnash should give the One Time Drop credit to all who hit him.
