I Killed a Necro Pet that was in Combat with a mob, did maybe 95% damage (rest was the mob) and when the Pet died, the mob gave the Deathblow to the Necro-Player.
I got neither XP nor RP for this.
1. Attack a necro Pet (that is in combat or maybe doesnt even need to be)
2. Kill the Necro Pet
3. Have a mob (or maybe even other Player) deal the Deathblow to the Necro-player (who is not in shade form anymore due to the death of his pet)
4. Confirm, that you don't receive any XP/RP
I am not sure if this is the way it is intended to be /the way it used to be at Patch 1.65, but common sense tells me that if I am responsible for killing a Player, I should be rewarded for it.
Otherwise its completely useless to kill the pet and players will just wait for the pet to die and kill the Necro-Player (with 10% Health) and receive full XP/RP.
I dont have a Screenshot and can't login to my Account since I switched Realms, but this should be easy to reproduce and maybe someone else can provide evidence.
