All the leather armor that I have shows the "Leather Weapon" type, it should be "Leather Armor" instead.
1. Obtain some leather armor.
2. Hover your mouse over the item's icon.
3. Check that it shows "Leather Weapon" instead of "Leather Armor".
Make it show "Leather Armor" instead of "Leather Weapon". Probably should send an UPDATE query to the MySQL database and replace "Leather Weapon" with "Leather Armor" in the table which lists all item types. That's my best guess.
I admit English is not my first language but I am pretty sure that "armor" is what you wear in order to protect yourself from injuries and I know for a fact that "weapon" is what you use when your purpose is to inflict injuries to other miserable living beings.
Of course you might use leather weapons in the practice of BDSM but I think that icon represents an armor piece and not a whip.
