Somehow alliances with other guilds are not persistent. After just a couple of days, they get deleted! This happened to our guild/alliance already twice.
1. Form two guilds.
2. As a guildmaster, select the other guildmaster with your mouse and use /gc ainvite (or /gc aaccept respectively).
3. Wait a few days (until the server restarts?) and see the alliance to be removed.
Alliances should persist, even when the server has to reboot.
I hope this issue does not require quantifiable evidence.
