The leather armor I have bought from merchents AND received as quest rewards show as 'Leather Weapon' when I mouse over them in inventory and on paper doll.
1. Buy a piece of leather armor from a merchent
2. Mouse over the item
3.
Leather armor should be described as leather armor.
Simple logic: armor is NOT a weapon. BTW, my Midgard Studded Armor also shws as a weapon.
