When i'm logging in after a long absence my E-Mail adress isnt linked to my V1 Useraccount, although i'm using the same Adress for both.
My old Account Name was Feadral666, my Chars do seem to exist (i.e. Mithrendiel)
I'm not klinging to the old chars so i dont care if either deleting the old account or relinking it is the simpler thing for you, i'd go for the more easy way
