As of March 3, 2024, when achieving Bone Dancer level 35, the spell level 30 bone commander stops being able to support two followers.
1. Create a level 34 Bone Dancer, summon all three pets.
2. Create a level 35 Bone Dancer, attempt to summon all three pets.
3.
Enable bone commanders summoned by level 35 bone dancers to resume supporting two followers.
The following quote is from the Uthgard Bone Dancer Guide as translated from the French version by the Uthgard Bone dancer class lead: "Only high level commanders are able to control sub-pets so they can control 1 pet at lvl 15-29, control 2 pets at lvl 30-44 and finally 3 pets at lvl 45-50."

3 sub-pets at lvl 45-50."
As you can see, A level 35 bone dancer should be able to summon a bone commander that can support two sub-pets. A level 34 bone dancer is able to summon a bone commander that can support two sub-pets.
