When trying to open the Launcher executable under Windows XP SP3 (x86) the following message appears: "uthgard.exe is not a valid win32 application."
There is no way around it, and this isn't a duplicate ticket, cause it has nothing to do with TLS - it doesn't get that far, it's a problem with the executable itself attempting to run in the WinXP 32bit OS environment.
1. Install the Launcher by running "uthgard.setup.exe".
2. Complete the steps necessary to finish installation.
3. Open "uthgard.exe"
This message should not appear, and the Launcher should work like it does in any other Windows OS that is supported by the game, Dark Age of Camelot. It just doesn't make much sense for the game to work just fine under Windows XP SP3 x86, with the Launcher needed to login to the server not working in the same OS environment.
Is it possible to recompile the executable under an older version of the .NET Framework to allow the WinXP x86 OS to recognize the executable as a valid Win32 application?
