The launcher fails at start-up with this message:
Updater was unable to connect to Uthgard:
The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.
This comes from the web server requiring the use of TLS 1.2. Unfortunately, Microsoft has stopped updates for this library for Windows Xp and Windows Vista.
All players playing with these OSes will not be able to connect using Uthgard Launcher.
The error occurs immediately after running the launcher on old versions of Windows not supporting TLS 1.2.
However, they do support TLS 1.0.
Proposed solution:
Allow TLS 1.0 connections on the server (at least to be able to retrieve launcher data) OR unsecured connections for launcher data.
