0684: Error "Could not check for launcher updates"

Description

since today, at the start of the launcher, i get the message 'Update check failed'. After pressing 'Cancel' starts the launcher without problems. I get the same error at game starts (by pressing 'connect' in the launcher)...

Reproduction Steps

1. start launcher and get error
2. press 'cancel'
3. press 'connect' and get error

Complete error named:

Update Check failed
Could not check for launcher updates:
Der Server hat eine Protokollverletzung ausgeführt..
