Uthgard v2 is not supported for Linux and Mac OS X.
Many people own Mac computers these days, so to be able to play on them would make us able to also reach these people.
There are people who also use Linux as their operation system, but to allow it would also make older hardware able to work with Uthgard v2.
It would be a lot safer than Win XP, and since DAoC is not a very taxing game for todays standard even old pc's should be able to run it.
