Mobs regen while in combat. From what i remember from Classic/SI, mobs do not regen thier lifepool while in combat
1. Pull mobs, cast dot.
2. Whats their health go up after each tick.
3. Repeat last 2 steps.
Mobs while in combat (i.e. after pulled/nuked/damaged) should not regen hit points. They should only do that when they reset and are out of combat.
Sadly i can not find any old document/site/patch notes that explain this behavior.
This is what i recall from the old days when i started in 2001-2002.
