Royal blue enamel dropped from mobs in Stonehenge Barrows in Albion is bugged. When applied to armor it shows up as charcoal or black dye (hard to tell which but probably charcoal). I have tested this twice with the only two royal blue enamel drops I've received and applied it to plate armor.
1. Take royal blue enamel (especially kind dropped in Barrows)
2. Apply to plate armor (or chain or studded)
3. See that result is not intended.
Should check the proper hues of all dyes to make sure they are correct. If I had tons of gold I would do this but many are 6-30g a piece.
No evidence other than the name of the dyes says "royal blue" and the color is clearly too dark and looks like charcoal or black.
