*I am on a level 4 Briton rogue so my testing is limited to the area between Prydwen Keep and Cotswold.
Mobs cannot be melee attacked when they are stationary on a hill. I tried running inside, through, and around the mob within what I considered acceptable melee range. I was still unable to attack the mob.
If they start moving, I can attack them.
If they stop moving and are still on a hill, I cannot attack them. (Too far away error message)
If they are in a flatter area, I can attack them.
1. Melee attack a mob on a hill that is standing still
2. Wait until it moves (you will be able to attack it)
3. Wait until it is in a flatter area (a valley, for example) (you will be able to attack it)
Mobs standing still on a hill should be attackable in melee.
I am certain this is a bug. It is very unusual behavior for any period of time DAoC operated in.
Issue is a duplicate: #383
