The launcher does not work on Windows XP (while DAoC itself works fine).
The staff knows this (see their FAQ "Can I use the Uthgard Launcher with Windows XP?") and Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, but there are many people that still have a Windows XP machine, e.g., for playing old games.
So this issue is for showing the staff that you would like to play DAoC on Uthgard (in case you use Win XP) and/or that you would like your friends and other people to play on Uthgard (in case they use Win XP).
More players, more fun.

Try to install/run the Uthgad launcher on Microsoft Windows XP.
- Microsoft .NET 4.6 is required, but it’s not availabe for Win XP. There do not seem to be any workarounds: http://www.uthgard.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=36411
- TLS 1.2 is also required, which is not supported by Win XP. See the issue https://uthgard.org/tracker/issue/6/
